About Serve Day Leadership
Serve Day is run by a cross section of volunteers and local church staff dedicated to the Vision and Values outlined within our Purpose Statement.
Lead Team :: is made up of volunteers and church staff who ensure that the vision, values and purposes are maintained throughout the Serve Day family. They oversee the Serve Day regions in order to provide effective resources and tools (like the Serve Day Software) for the wider church.
Anchors :: are the main point of contact for Serve Day in their region. Anchors cast and ensure that the vision of service and unity among partnering churches is carried out. The Anchor is designed to project the needs of each Serve Day activity within its region. Also, the Anchor is responsible for communicating with and encouraging churches, as well as pastors, in their region to unite and serve their community. Furthermore, the Anchor is responsible for ascertaining any fees that will be requested from participating churches and distribute according to the desire of the churches in their region. (This may be facilitated by a DBA for “Serve Day” from their church.) Finally, Anchors will inform, equip, and train Church Liaisons throughout the entire Serve Day process, from start to finish.
Church Liaisons :: champion Serve Day planning and implementation at their respective church. They cultivate relationships with community partners and encourages participation in Serve Day among their church and local community. A Church Liaison may oversee one to upwards of 50 Project Leaders within their church. This role acts as a main point of contact and information for each church and can be a volunteer or paid staff member.
Project Leaders :: put the Vision to Action. A project leader is the face of Serve Day by articulating service through diligence in planning their project and caring for each servant.
We invite churches to partner with us as we broaden our reach, increase our impact, and extend our commitment as well as devotion to Christ & our communities!
